These might have been my favorite thing to sew this summer. I was part of Little Kiwi’s Closet testing group for the Street Smart Sweatshirt Collection. The pattern covers sizes from newborn to 12 years. There are lots of different options included in the pattern – hi low hem, plackard back, hood, pocket, dress length, and so on. Lots of options. You have to check out this post. THE CUTEST SWEATER EVER that one of the testers made using the pattern.
I love Danica’s so much. This test ended on July 1, and I think she’s grown so much since then, as her sweater is a little more snug now. Sad about it. I added a little heart applique to the hood of Danica’s.
Elle’s is the plackard back sweatshirt. I didn’t put a fun applique on her’s. I’d meant to, but if I recall, I finished her sweatshirt in the wee hours before the test was due and decided to skip the extra little details. She wore it to pick Danica up from the bus stop yesterday. She’s too cute!
