I had the opportunity to test the Beachcomber Pinny for Lydia of LittleKiwisCloset. This little pinny pattern is ADORABLE!! And super quick. Remember what I said here about not being a quick sewist? I had this little pinny finished in less than two hours. And part of that two hours involved hand sewing on two buttons and putting girls to bed. At first look, it looks like it should take a lot longer. Not the case, unless you add bias tape or piping to it, obviously that would take longer. On Craftsy, Lydia offers a FREE tutorial for making piping and binding. I have it downloaded, but confess to not having looked at it yet. I just don’t know if I am ready to venture there yet.
Sorry about the awful indoor photos. I believe we woke up to a sprinkling of snow that morning, and I am in serious protest of snow in May! Awful pictures aside, isn’t that the cutest little pinny ever? That HUGE piece down the center front, that’s a POCKET!!! Danny put Elle’s cup in it, and she thought it was the greatest thing ever!
It’s an adorable pinny, and a super easy pattern. Lydia is running a sew along on her blog. It started May 9th, so I’m a little late to the game posting about it. The great thing is that you can go back and follow along whenever you want. If you feel you need some extra help, follow along with the sew along, which can be found here.
I’m linking up, here.
