17 Month Olds Are The WORST Models

Remember that busy week (this post) where I sewed up seven items for six pattern tests? So far I’ve showed off the GYCT FREE Fox Coin Purse and the Bebelambs Hope Floats Tops that I’d made for River and Danica and the Labri Maxi for Elle, and the Retro Frock by Dandelions ‘N Dungarees for Danica.

Now it’s time to share the Active Classics Everyday Pants and Short by Ginger Baby. It will be releasing this weekend and I’ll add the links then. The size range is 3m to size 12. UPDATE: The pattern had released and can be found here on Etsy and here on Ginger Baby’s website.

Super easy pattern. Super quick sew. Beginner friendly!

I also learnt that Elle is the WORST model ever. At least today she was. She just wanted to wear Danny’s toque and hold Pup Pup. She was annoyed when I took them away.

Put that belly button away.

They’re a cute little pant though. I made mine out of a velour, just for fun. I also made them a size 24 months, which is big for Elle. But with the way she is growing lately I figured it was the safest bet for long term use. They’re a really quick sew, and beginner friendly.

You can find Ginger Baby Patterns here on their website, here on Facebook, and here on Etsy.

About manningthemachine

I'm Laura. Mama to four, and wife to one awesome guy. I'm ever so slightly sarcastic. Just a little bit. I like to quote movies, but since our house is managed by little people, most of those quotes come from kiddie shows. At least my husband generally gets the references. It makes me feel less awkward. I took sewing lessons starting at the age of 8, through the Kids Can Sew program. I took lessons for four or five years. Then I became a snotty teen and decided sewing was lame. I've repented of my ways, and enjoy sewing for my little ones. And sometimes other people. And almost never for myself. Oh hey. My blog name. "Manning The Machine." I think it's probably only funny if you know me in real life. And even then, maybe it is only funny to me. My last name is Manning. This is a blog about my sewing. Manning The (Sewing) Machine. Do you get it? Do you? No. That's fine. I think it's funny even if you don't.
