I have had a busy, busy, busy sewing week. I think I made seven items this past week and participated in six different pattern test. Six? Yeah, six. I might be crazy.
I had the pleasure of testing for Chelsea of GYCT again this week. Chelsea is lovely and we have a lot of fun in the testing group. I’m happy I got to be a part of another one of her pattern tests. I’ve previously tested her Love Me Knot Shorts pattern, and blogged about it here and here.
This time I was pattern testing for her FREE Fox Coin Purse pattern. That’s right! Free, yo!
How cute is that little guy? Cute right!
Want to see mine? Of course you do.
My fox has a backstory.
His name is Fox (picked by my 5 yr old). There is a recessive tiger stripe gene that runs in his family. He plans to use this to his advantage, while pursing his dreams of performing in Cats The Musical on Broadway in New York City.
I’m sending him to my Godmother, Kathy, for her birthday.
You can find the FREE pattern here on Craftsy. Once you get all the cutting out of the way, it’s a super quick sew. The cutting takes the longest because of the little pieces. And even then, it doesn’t take that long.
Jessica blogged about her Fox Coin Purse over at The Berry Bunch. You should stop by, read her post, and say hi.
Alyssa, Queen of the Pattern Test, also blogged about the Fox Coin Purse over at Keep Calm and Carrion. She even made a cat!
If you haven’t already, go and like GYCT on Facebook.
Woah, did you know that when you use your actual laptop to write a post, and you enter a hyper link there is a box you can check to make the link pop up in its own window/tab? Fun. Yes, I’m easily amused.
I’m Linking Up here.
