To sum the challenge up: sew clothes for kids, 1 hour a day, for seven days.
Pretty simple! And the whole process counts. The pattern tracing, the fabric cutting, and the almost inevitable seam ripping!
And an exciting edition to the challenge. A first ever theme. MINI ME!
I’m sure my mini me’s don’t need maternity clothes. But, currently, my basic wardrobe is maxi skirts (so comfy!) and tanks or tees. Yes. Yes I do live in Alberta. Yes. Yes it did just snow the other day. I don’t care. It’s comfy. The heating company can just take all my money. I’m thinking of t-shirt maxi dresses for the girls. But I could change my mind before then.
The other awesome aspect about the timing of this challenge, besides spending my birthday week happily locked in my sewing room, is that the second annual Fabulous Fabric Frenzy is April 5. Hello fabric at $1/meter!
